Honestly this program should be removed permanently. What a joke
How is affordable if they still require 2.5 the rent as a qualification? This is NOT affordable housing unless it means reducing rent for working families or even for people with fixed income. We need subsidized housing not tax breaks for banks who have millions and don’t want to get taxed Please!!! Great education video it really uncovered some truth.
This is so succinct! Thank you!
This is interesting
I live in America and their Emergency Alerts System still gives me ptsd to this day. When I’m watching tv it randomly comes on😂
So.what is a voucher .it is basically an arbitrary number? Who pays the rent, what does one do with a 'voucher' it seems worthless I don't get it.

Salut à tous c'est Lassalle
You qualify for Section 8, but are put on a waiting list, and it takes years before you get the benefit. Better off going to college 4 years, get a teaching degree, and become a traveling teacher. You get your housing paid, medical benefits, etc., and an extra pay check.
My state does a lottery style drawing for its vouchers. So you could apply every year for 20 years and not get picked or you can apply once and get lucky
Both sets of my grandparents did not have a mortgage. My parents did not have a mortgage. It's sad that the prices are so high for housing, WTH is going on in the USA? It's predatory and not right.
Thank You🙂
Can you even save money while being on section 8?
Ty..🙏.
Wag po ninyo paniwalaan pag Jesus macario Ang mag load KC méron lang gumagamit ng account niya s fb at I'd nakuha din
Could you tell me after 1 year in voucher what the next step

The 1st year 1953 Corvettes were totally built in Flint! While the new factory was being built!
What person has 2 kid's and works a minimum wage job ?
All major cities would still have streetcars if it weren't for that oil guy...
I worked in plant 4 in 1966-67, and part of 68. Then I went out to the parts warehouse, Otterburn, out by Swartz Creek. Left the Flint area in 1970 when I got drafted.
They should erect a statue of the Washington politician who deserves all the credit for the destruction of US industry.
But if the Republicans abolished the Income tax you would get a full refund and no need for tax credits.
There is a problem in your group. They are taking money from those who believe.
The need to collapse the 4 or 5 levels that go down below.
General Motors should be held completely responsible and liable for all contamination on it's former sites. Taxpayers should not be responsible for cleanup. Billions in profits for the shareholder and no liability for environmental destruction.
Where in Michigan?
Wonderful upload, several years later! I have since found an Incubator program here locally in Prince George's County, MD after watching this video. Thank you!
Other people owe me everything. I want someone who is working 2 jobs to support my life style. Free housing, free food, free education. I sleep until noon. I got 3 baby mamas to visit.
What a confession. You get it right. I do not know who is/are farther of my kids but I want tax payers pay for my housing and other things I need to raise my kids. People! don't be heartless with my kids.
@@junkvista61 You are obviously also a victim. Vote Biden /Harris for another 4 years of free stuff. ( Sarcasm ).

Is there a way to find out what application you filled out about 8 or so yrs ago? Navigating the site on my own and not sure if i filled out the right thing or not. Wanted to apply to section 8 for the apt i'm still in. Rent has gone up maybe $300 since then.
keep on ...
Yes I would like to know what's next how and when will I expect to get my voucher
My grandfather worked in plant 4 in 1937, during the strike.

GM poised the earth and now ya make it a park. GM poisoned the river and ya got drinking water from it. This is crazy
This comment is crazy! You're trying to blame GM for the water?! Seriously?!
@@jasoncox3151 what happens when you poor sludge into the earth and river for 100 years.
@@patriciakennedy4780 where did that happen?? But back to your point of the water in Flint, you do know it was a plumbing issue and has ZEEEEEERRRROO to do with GM right??!
Thank you. This helps me understand it better.
How about they clean up the water problem in Flint. Who's going to want to live there if you will be poisoned by the water?

I am real estate investor and my agent asked me to buy these types of property from Detroit, MI. Are they profitable?
i bet people in Flint wish Chevy in the hole was still puffing smoke , i remember Dad driving us around and going by Chevy , Buick , AC and Fisher 1 where he started back in the 1920's he said they all ran 24 hours a day 7 days a week . Chevy was a amazing complex .
There's nothing in flint except wet dreams for that dump coming back to life.
The goberment is the salvation I don't have to work as long as I gets my check.
Calm down boomer..
If you don't produce an income fantasizing about the evolution is the waste of university
Stewardship of the forest and wood working for fun and profit. I've always been told if you want to take care of the river you have to take care of the forest.
